Beauty Abounds card Stampin up!


Hello and welcome back to Chapter Crafts. 
The 2nd projects I am going to be using a new bundle and a new designer series paper called gingham gala. Both are from the new Spring / Summer catalogue from Stamping Up!


How to make it.

Card base
Whisper white card 8 1\4" X 5 7\8""
Score @ 4 7\8"

Lemon lime twist gingham gala designer series paper cut to 4" X 5 3\4"

Stamping layer
Whisper white cut to 3" X 3 3\4"

Stamp your sentiment and the butterflies using lemon lime twist.  Cut out the climbing leaf in lemon lime twist card.

Beauty Abounds Friendship card Stampin up!


Hello and welcome back to Chapter Crafts. The next 3 projects I am going to be using a new bundle from our new Spring / Summer catalogue from Stamping Up!I
It is called Beauty Abounds and it has got one of my favourite things and thats butterflies.  
There are 2 bundles with them in in the new catalogue and I will be showing you the other one in a few weeks time. 
The first project I made was this very simple card using 1 stamp set, 1 ink pad and 1 coloured card.

How to make it.

Card base
Whisper white card 7 7\8" X 4"
Score @ 3 15\16"

Stamp your image and sentiment using basic black. If you wanted to add colour to the image you can but I think it looks ok with or without colour.
Draw a stitched edge around the front of your card.

Wonderful moments card Stampin up!


 Hello and welcome back to Chapter Crafts. Today I have made this card for a bride using the wonderful moments stamp set and the delightfully detailed laser cut designer series paper.

Here's how to make it.

Card base
Powder pink card 4 1\4" X 11 3\4"
Score @ 5 7\8"

A bit of mirror card 5 3\4" X 4"

Stampin layer
Powder pink card 5" X 3 1\2"

Stamp your image using basic black ink and colour your image in using the media you want attached the cut designer series paper on top of your image.
Using a 1 1\2" circle punch cut out 2 circles in the same mirror card and 1 circle in the powder pink stamp sentiment and attached to card front.

Wonderful moments with swirl's and curls embossing folder from Stampin up!

My second project this week is a card for a exptant mother 
I chose to use wonderful moments stamp set as I think it covers all the important events Inc wedding , giving birth and if anyone is I'll or just a card to cheer someone up.
Here's how to make it.

Card base.
 Whisper white card 8 1\4" X 5 7\\8""
Score @ 4 1\8"

Run a bit of Highland heather card 4" X 5 3\4"

Stamp your image using Highlands heatther ink on a bit of wisper white 3" X 4 3\4"

Case a Scrimpy card Stampin up!

Hello and welcome back to Chapter Crafts. Today I have been given a challenge to Case a Scrimpy card. What this means is all the ladies and gentlemen who are in Team Scrimpy gets paired with a fellow crafter, you then have to choose a card that the crafter has made and make it and add your twist to it.
I got paired with the lovely Karen Egan. I saw her craft stall pictures and noticed the pop up box cards she made for her. I decided to have a go at making one. The one below is the one made by Karen Egan.
I choose to make a Christmas theme so using the signs of santa bundle from the Stampin up autumn/winter catalogue.

Here's how to make it.

Card base.
First you need real red card stock cut to 5 1\2" x full A4 size on the length an score on the long side @ 2", 5 1\2", 7 1\2" & 11"
Score on the small side with the small side @ 3" up 2 the 3rd score line.
Cut 3 peices of red card to 1\2" x 4 1\2". Score @ 1\2" & 4" on all 3 bits.

Layer 1
Using the Santa's workshop DSP cut
1 @ 3 1\4" X 3"
1 @ 3 1\4" X 2 1\4"
2 @ 1 3\4" X 2 1\4"
